Tailwag launched in Seattle in 2022 as a mobile-first dog grooming brand with a van, a brand identity that looked like it belonged on a surf company, and a genuine love for animals. The founder was diagnosed with a pet allergy that developed over time — as ironic as it is devastating — and had to step away completely.
